Woodleigh Residences’ soft launch well-received

Buyers have been waiting for a new private condominium project in the future township of Bidadari with much anticipation.

Over 2,000 people turned up for the soft launch of Woodleigh Residences over the weekend.

While sales at the Woodleigh Residences showroom have yet to begin, many have already shown interest in the project.

Condominium in new township linked to a retail mall, MRT and bus interchange

The 99-year leasehold Woodleigh Residences is one of the few integrated developments to be launched this year. It has quite a few pluses which could account for its popularity with buyers and investors.

Integrated properties are becoming increasingly popular as they tick the boxes for many modern homeowners and tenants, making it an investment with good long-term potential.

Woodleigh Residences will sit in Bidadari, at the junction of Upper Serangoon and Upper Aljunied roads, and will be connected to not only the Woodleigh MRT station and a shopping mall but also to Singapore’s first air-conditioned underground bus-interchange.

The project is jointly developed by Japanese developer Kajima Development and Singapore Press Holdings and is targeted for completion in August 2022.

Conveniently located and highly accessible

The rental potential for the area is promising as there are a number of schools within 1km, including Maris Stella High School, Cedar Primary School and the Stamford American International School.

With the Woodleigh MRT station and the upcoming bus interchange in place, and new HDB flats being built in the Bidadary township, the area will be bustling.

It also helps that the city centre is just a few stops or a quick drive away. The integrated condominium development will also include a private Japanese-style hot spring overlooking Alkaff Lake and Bidadari Park; and there will be a 28,000 sq m retail, dining and commercial space linked to it. Also clustered in the same area will be a supermarket, community club and neighbourhood police post.

The residential segment will hold 667 two-, three- and four-bedroom units with prices starting from $1,873 psf.
