Southkey, a 330-acre urban lifestyle development in Johor Bahru city centre, has just unveiled its new sales gallery @ Southkey, which is dedicated towards serving customers and visitors better while bringing them closer to owning properties at Southkey.
Refreshing attractive and cool looking, the new sales gallery and show units are located opposite the former gallery which has been vacated to make way for Southkey Megamall development which is currently in progress of doing earth works, with piling completed last August.
Latest Milestones
Recently, Southkey City Sdn Bhd has made two significant milestones in their development. First, by signing the Joint Venture Construction Agreement with Ensignia Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of IGB Corporation Bhd) with IGB Corp Bhd for the construction of Mid Valley Southkey Megamall – Phase 1 project in June 2015. The other milestone is the sale of the 3.5-acre Medical Centre land @ Southkey Johor Bahru to Columbia Asia Sdn Bhd in August 2015.
Mid Valley Southkey Megamall is a RM6bil joint venture project between IGB Corporation Bhd and Southkey City Sdn Bhd with a shareholding proportion of 70:30. This megamall project will be built on 36-acres of land within Southkey and is expected to be opened by second half of 2018. Once completed, the mall will be the largest shopping mall in the southern region of Malaysia.

Congratulations to Columbia Asia Sdn Bhd for making the right choice in purchasing the coveted 3.5-acre Medical Centre land @ Southkey that fronts Jalan Tebrau, the most vibrant road in Johor Bahru.

New Sales Gallery
In Malaysia, Columbia Asia’s latest addition following the purchase of 3.5-acre land from Southkey City Sdn Bhd in September 2015 will be a fully equipped multi-disciplinary hospital located at Southkey that will enhance the amenities in Southkey for the benefits and convenience its community in particular.
The hospital will commence construction in the third quarter of 2016 and is estimated to be completed in the third quarter of 2018. Build on 3.5 acres of land with a build-up area of approximately 235,000 square feet, the 3-storey hospital will have about 150 beds with comprehensive multi-disciplinary specialty services such as anesthesiology, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, radiology, emergency care and many more. The services offer will effectively manage the majority of medical conditions confronting and impacting the lives of the community today.
