The Tapestry condominium in Tampines launches on Mar 24

As the first suburban condominium to launch this year, City Development’s (CDL) The Tapestry looks set to weave well into the social fabric of Tampines.

861-unit The Tapestry launches on March 24

The 99-year leasehold project in Tampines St 86 will consist of 861 units spread across seven 15-storey blocks. It is being developed by Bellevue Properties, a subsidiary of CDL. One of the project’s many plus-points comes from its location.

Tampines is a mature estate very much in demand by investors and upgraders and it has a well-developed network of transport and education institutions. An indication of the potential of the project comes from the strong inquiries it has already received.

The Tapestry will offer a variety of units from one-bedroom apartments o five-bedroom dual key apartments that come with a study.

Prices of the one-bedders are expected to start from $596,000.

Two- and three-bedroom units will be proved from $796,000 and $1.15 million respectively. The four-bedders are likely to cost $1.65 million and up while the bigger five-room dual key units will go from $2.1 million.

New suburban condo will have smart-home features

This new condominium will feature over 50 facilities such as a 100m infinity pool, 24-hour gymnasium and a childcare centre. The units will also have modern features such as smart-home technology.

A smart voice assistant for example, will enable them to control their smart-home devices by voice and a smart gateway will have a pan-and-tilt camera that can enhance security.

With these modern features and a good location, the developers are hopeful for a good uptake from buyers.
