Strong response from buyers at Woodleigh Residences Launch

2 weeks ago, The Woodleigh Residences’ showflat was swamped with buyers indicating their interest in the new condominium project.

Over the weekend, they came back again in throngs to ballot for a chance to select their preferred units.

Buyers eager to pick up units at new Bidadari condominium

The main draw for the condominium is its location. Aside from being in a new and exciting township which could bring added vibrancy to a growing area, its integrated development status also lends to its attraction.

The 667-unit Woodleigh Residences sits on Bidadari Park Drive and will be connected to the Woodleigh MRT station and a shopping mall. It is jointly developed by Japanese property developer Kajima Development and Singapore Press Holdings.

Situated diagonally opposite the Stamford American School and with Cedar Girls’ School just a short walkway, The Woodleigh Residences is well-poised for both sales and rental possibilities. Other schools in the vicinity include St. Gabriel’s School and the Australian International School.

Bidadari area well served with various transport and lifestyle options

The Bidadari precinct is being developed into an exciting new housing area, filled with nature, recreation, retail and dining offerings and a good mix of public and private housing. The Housing Development Board (HDB) has plans to make the area into a “community in a garden”.

The Woodleigh Residences is located near and will boast views of the Alkaff Lake and Bidadari Park.

The area will be filled with plenty of green and vibrant spaces and if residents fancy a Japanese-style hot spring bath of Onsen, they can even have one right in their backyard. As buyers become more selective about the environment in which they will eventually live in, property agents are finding an increase in the number of buyers willing to pay a premium for units with a view.

The 99-year leasehold property will be built in a U shape, thus maximising the number of units with window views.

A 2-bedder here has a starting price of $1.088 million. The development has a mix of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartment units with a 4-bedder price from $2.55 million.
