This year’s first batch of BTO launches is here! As part of the set of launches, Sengkang gets a brand new BTO project of its own.
Quick Overview

Fernvale Vines is a massive BTO project, with a total of over 933 units, divided into 2-room flexi, 3- room, 4-room, 5-room and even 3 Generation HDB flats. This set of 6 residential flats are going to be pretty tall, as they will range from 17 to 24 storeys in height.
The development will sit on the corner of Fernvale Road and Fernvale Street, right opposite Parc Botannia and High Park Residences. As this is a completely new development, there will also be a small park to be built, as well as a proposed civic and community institution near it.

- Parking spaces for car-sharing schemes
- Sustainable and recycled products in the development itself
- Separate chutes for recyclable waste
- Additional bicycle stands to encourage cycling

Well-connected
In addition to the environmentally sound development, the flats are situated very close to public transport, meaning residents will be able to further lower their carbon footprint by using LRTs, MRTs and buses.
The site is right next to Thanggam LRT station, which is in turn connected to Sengkang MRT station as well as the Sengkang bus interchange. Sengkang MRT opens up access to multiple lines via Serangoon (Circle Line), Dhoby Ghaut (North-South Line), Chinatown (Downtown Line), and Outram (East West Line).

Amenities and Activities
Sengkang is well built out when it comes to leisure activities. First up, the Sengkang Sports Centre is a 9-minute ride by bus, or short LRT ride away.
The sports centre acts as a community club and recreational sports hub and offers space for physical activity. They have a gym, an indoor sports hall, a soccer field and a hockey pitch. There is also a swimming complex with a competition pool and wading pools. The sports centre also organises exercise classes.
Right next to the sports centre is the Sengkang Riverside Park, which is also connected to the floating wetland in Punggol Reservoir. This man-made floating wetland was built to improve water quality and provides a natural habitat for birds and fish.
Additionally, Sengkang River is connected via 4 park connectors to Sungei Punggol, Punggol Waterway Park, Marina Country Club, Punggol Jetty and Coney Island. It’s a whole lot of nature to explore!

Of course, Sengkang is home to Compass One shopping mall, which offers a range of shopping, dining and supermarket options. The Seletar Mall is also within the vicinity of this new BTO. A 15-minute walk or an LRT ride to Fernvale LRT takes you to the doorstep of The Seletar Mall.
Additionally, a short walk from the new BTO site will bring you to the junction of Jalan Kayu and Lorong Samak, where fantastic food options like Blanco Prawn Noodles and Cafeela Roti Prata await.
