The 592-unit Amber Park condominium will be built on a 213,675 sq ft site which was acquired in October 2017 for $906.7 million which translated to a land rate of $1,515 psf ppr. At that time, it was a record-holding en bloc deal for freehold properties.

The rooftop deck, called Stratosphere, will hold not only a 600-metre jogging track but also a yoga deck, gym, spa pool and other recreational facilities. The sky-jogging track is supposedly the first for a residential condominium Singapore.

Amber Park is jointly developed by City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Realty. The site is well-placed with the upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT station along one of Singapore’s newest MRT lines, the Thomson-East Coast line, just a short walk away.

There are a number of schools nearby including Ta9 Nan School, Tanjong Katong Girls’ School and CHIJ (Katong) Primary.

Early prices attractive for a rare district 15 freehold property

Buyers and investors who favour properties in the East will know that freehold properties here are hard to come by. Add to the mix attractive early bird prices, the developers are expecting a good take-up rate.
