Over the weekend, a freehold condominium in Amber Road was launched.
It boasts a 32,507 sq ft rooftop deck that will connect all 3 of the property’s 21-storey towers.
Amber Park condominium boasts rooftop feature and good location
The 592-unit Amber Park condominium will be built on a 213,675 sq ft site which was acquired in October 2017 for $906.7 million which translated to a land rate of $1,515 psf ppr. At that time, it was a record-holding en bloc deal for freehold properties.
The rooftop deck, called Stratosphere, will hold not only a 600-metre jogging track but also a yoga deck, gym, spa pool and other recreational facilities. The sky-jogging track is supposedly the first for a residential condominium Singapore.
Amber Park is jointly developed by City Developments Limited (CDL) and Hong Realty. The site is well-placed with the upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT station along one of Singapore’s newest MRT lines, the Thomson-East Coast line, just a short walk away.
There are a number of schools nearby including Ta9 Nan School, Tanjong Katong Girls’ School and CHIJ (Katong) Primary.
Early prices attractive for a rare district 15 freehold property
Buyers and investors who favour properties in the East will know that freehold properties here are hard to come by. Add to the mix attractive early bird prices, the developers are expecting a good take-up rate.
Designed by SCDA Architect‘s principal architect Chan Soo Khian, units at Amber Park range between 463 sq ft one-bedders which come with studies, to 5,005 sq ft for the largest 6-bedroom penthouse plus study.
Prices for 1-bedroom units start from $1.088 million while 5-bedroom premium units start from $4.98 million.
District 15 offers quick access to the city centre and sea views in many of the properties in the area. Amber Park is expected to be completed in 2024.
