For buyers who have a penchant for Japanese-influenced home designs and technology, this weekend’s launch may be something to watch.
Japanese-influenced design and technology to feature in Woodleigh Residences
The Woodleigh Residences which launches this weekend will be Bidadari’s only integrated development.
The project includes not only a 667-unit residential component but also a 3-storey retail mall with supermarket, a Neighbourhood Police Centre, a community club, an underground air-conditioned bus interchange and direct access to the Woodleigh MRT station.
The Bidadari estate is one of the most popular new estates being developed. It’s proximity to the city centre and part of the mature estate of Toa Payoh, new private properties here are likely to attract many home seekers and investors.
For buyers who are looking to move nearer schools, within a 1-kilometre radius are Maris Stella High School, Cedar Primary School and Stamford American International School.
Some of the Japanese technology which will be incorporated into the design of the project and within the units include:
- Flushed flooring between the balcony and living room to extend the living space
- Smart drainage design in the balcony to ensure efficient water drainage.
- Walls without electrical works which can be removed hassle-free to help residents adapt to their changing lifestyles or family needs
The Woodleigh Residences is a joint venture between Kajima Development and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).
The new project will offer views of Bidadari Park and Alkaff Lake
Plans for the Bidadari estate are shaping up well, including a 10-hectare Bidadari Park, of which 180 meters will run along with the 99-year leasehold Woodleigh Residences.
The estate will also feature a play area with a treehouse and Singapore’s first underground reservoir.
The project developers are expecting good demand at this weekend’s launch. 50 units were released at a soft launch last October and another 50 in November.
The units will range from 570 sq ft for a 2-bedder to 1,475 sq ft for a 4-bedder deluxe unit. The latter will all have private lift access and views of the Alkaff Lake. Prices start from $1,733 psf.
The Woodleigh Residences has an estimated completion date of 2022 and will launch this Saturday. The sales gallery is located next to Nex shopping mall.
