Lendlease Asia funds take top rankings for sustainability

SINGAPORE –  Lendlease’s Asia funds have again taken the top rankings in the 2017 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) in the Asia and retail category. A record 850 participants and 77,000 properties representing more than US$3.7 trillion in global assets under management took part in the 2017 GRESB Survey.

In the Asia Retail funds category, four Lendlease-managed funds took the top positions. Asian Retail Investment Fund 1 (ARIF1), which holds 75% of 313@somerset, emerged regional sector leader.

The second was Lendlease Jem Partners Fund, that holds 25% of the mixed-use development Jem, while in third place was ARIF 3 that owns 75% of Jem. ARIF 2 holding 50% of Setia City Mall in Malaysia came in fourth.

In the Health & Wellbeing module, Lendlease Asia funds also performed well in both the Asia Retail and Global Retail categories. The Health & Wellbeing module was introduced last year as a supplement to GRESB’s Real Estate Assessment, in recognition of the impact that the design, construction, and operation of the built environment have on customers and tenants.
