Launch of Riviere condominium on former Zouk site

Zouk was a mainstay of the River Valley area for a couple of decades or more.

The popular night club now has a new home but on the land, it previously stood, will be a new luxury residential apartment project.

New condominium project by the Singapore River

The Riviere condominium was launched over the weekend. The 99-years leasehold project will stand on Zouk’s previous Jiak Kim road site next to the Singapore River.

Consisting of a pair of 36-storey luxury residential towers, the condominium has an estimated completion date of 2023 and will potentially hold 455 apartment units.

Accompanying an area that extends to the 3 conserved 100-year-old godowns in Jiak Kim Street and a newly-built 4-storey serviced apartment block, the Riviere will boast views and proximity to the Singapore River and the Central Business District (CBD).

In addition, the site is close to not one but 3 MRT stations – the Fort Canning Station and the upcoming Great World City and Havelock Stations.

Most of the 455 luxury units at the Riviere will have unblocked views of the Singapore River as the units will be elevated 18m above ground level. This new development will also feature a Sky Deck which will offer aerial views of the city.

Residents will also get to come home to more than simple comforts to the property’s many spas and an eatery. Units at the Riviere are expected to range from 560 sq ft one-bedders to 2,002 sq ft four-bedders. Prices start from $2,580 psf and will be launched in July.

The project is developed by Frasers Property Singapore and designed by SCDA Architect.
