Great Condos under $600K? Yes, it’s possible!

With private property prices climbing rapidly, it might seem hard to find condominiums that are in reasonably priced, and in good locations. Fortunately, we took some time out to go looking hunting for you. It turns out that there are more than a few property gems hidden in plain sight!

1. Park Olympia

Swimming pool, Parc Olympia condo.

This $600,000 east side property is certainly interesting to look at if you’re in the market for a quiet but convenient spot in the east.

These units at Parc Olympia might seem a little disconnected to the rest of the east but is actually very convenient. First off, the condo is close to Upper Changi MRT (Downtown Line), Tampines East MRT and Expo MRT. Then, there’s also IKEA Tampines, as well as the Giant Hypermarket opposite IKEA. Worth a gander if you want to be near the airport as well, because it’s a short ride to the terminals from this property.

2. People’s Park Complex

This apartment at People’s Park Complex is just one heck of a gem. I just have to put this in because of the proximity to the CBD. Make no mistake: This is prime positioning, even if the apartment is older.

Besides being close to Chinatown MRT, and basically just minutes away from the CBD, its also surrounded by food, supermarkets, and drinking establishments.

At an asking of $599,000, that comes down to a $1294psf. Very few places will be priced like this any more, so this one is definitely hot property.

3. Treasure at Tampines

Pool, Treasure at Tampines. Condo.

Another preposition in the east is Treasure at Tampines. This giant development has over 2000 units. But what makes it special is access to everything you need.

Tampines is the most developed towns in Singapore, bar none. That means that residents at Treasure have access to multiple shopping malls, supermarkets, all sorts of schools, and dining options. The unit in question is a $538,000 1-bedroom apartment that has a 464 sq ft floor area. For the accessibility, this is a steal.

4. City Loft

Race Course Road seems like an odd place to be in, but don’t knock it till you try it. This City Loft unit is really a gem in the rough.

City Loft Condo.

It’s near Farrer Park MRT and the recently redeveloped City Square Mall. So what you’re getting in 10-minute access to Orchard Road via train, as well as a huge mall with a supermarket, a cinema and multiple dining options.

Beyond that, Jalan Besar is home to an eclectic selection of food haunts and drinking establishments. Finally, it’s a freehold apartment, so that’s definitely a bonus.

5. Vibes @ East Coast

Vibes @ East Coast, Condo.

These units is located in the Katong area. Telok Kurau Road is home to plenty of private housing, and you’ll be within striking distance of plenty of famous eateries in the neighbourhood.

Additionally, this apartment is close to East Coast Park, and while there aren’t as many transport options within walking distance, you’ll be happy to know that Eunos MRT is a short bus ride away.

Of course, having this apartment as a freehold piece of property sweetens the deal.

6. Le Regal

Le Regal Condo

Don’t turn your nose at the Geylang address of this development, because this zone is primed for development.

This freehold unit at Le Regal has an amazing placement. It’s a 9-minute walk to Aljunied MRT, and a short MRT ride away from Payar Lebar MRT’s many malls. Near the development, there are food establishments and supermarkets.

Geylang is also in the process of being redeveloped by the authorities, so keep that in mind when you’re considering apartments in this area.

7. Riverfront Residences

This 1472-unit condominium development is in a good spot. Situated near Hougang MRT, the development has access to the North-East Line, as well as Hougang Mall’s supermarket and other shopping options.

Hougang’s mature heartland status also means that amenities like parks and police stations are fully developed along with the neighbourhood.

The development boasts a river view of Sungei Serangoon and proximity to the Serangoon Park Connector which brings visitors all the way to Punggol Park.

Always gems if we seek them out

That’s our roundup of condominiums under $600K this time round. Singapore’s property climate continues to get hotter, and prices seem to keep going up.

But, always remember that if you seek gems, you’ll always find them!
