It is located right at the heart of Holland Village, which has not seen many new retail developments in recent years. There has however been an increased influx of new residential projects, and the developers are looking forward to bringing more retail options to the residents here.

A few merchants have already signed on, including supermarket Cold Storage and pharmacy chain Guardian. Rice Company, a non-profit arts and culture organisation as well as movie theatre The Projector will also have a presence here, providing entertainment and cultural options which will no doubt be a refreshing add-on to the area already largely populated by eateries. There will also be ample parking spaces in the 2 basement levels with 500 parking spots made available in the commercial component of the development.

Residential blocks to take inspiration from walk-up units in Chip Bee Gardens

There are 3 blocks in the residential component of this massive project, each catering to a different market. The first is a 28-storey block with a mix of serviced apartments and luxury private units.

The serviced apartments will be operated by boutique hotel Quincy while the private apartments will fall under the Quincy Private Residences. The luxury apartments will include 3- and 4-room duplexes sized between 1,238 sq ft to 3,358 sq ft as well as a 3,488 sq ft penthouse. These units will have private life access and also concierge services made available to them.

The second 34-storey block named Sereen will hold 248 units from 1- to 3-bedders sized between 484 sq ft to 1,098 sq ft. The third block is a 3-storey building named Leven, inspired by the popular low-rise walk-up apartments of Tiong Bahru and the nearby Chip Bee Gardens.

It is rather exclusive as there will only be 21 two-bedroom units in this block, sized between 807 sq ft and 1,087 sq ft. Leven will also boast features such as spiral staircases and a roof terrace.

Prices of units here are expected to range between $2,400 psf and $3,500 psf.

The developers are hopeful that the new project will bring increased footfall to the larger Holland Village area, in particular as the population increases in the years ahead. One Holland Village will be completed in 2 phases, with the commercial and residential components slated for a completion dates in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
