ERA Breaks Traditions In Real Estate Marketing

SINGAPORE – As a market leader who has been setting and redefining industry standards through the pioneering of real estate concepts, technologies, initiatives and services since its inception in 1982, ERA Realty Network (ERA), the largest international real estate agency in Asia Pacific, is charting new frontiers in smart marketing as it launches its latest “fun” initiative to create awareness of the projects they are marketing.

Leveraging on the thrill of the chase and the popularity of social media, Facebook, in particular, ERA has rolled out an island-wide treasure hunt, dubbed “Find Mi If You Can” (Mi represents Mystery Item), to engage its 6,700-strong network of agents on new project launches.

To increase the fun factor, members of the public can also join in the fun as long as they have “liked” the ERA Project Marketing Facebook Page, where a trail of hints leading to the treasures and bite-sized information on the latest project launches that ERA is marketing will be released on a daily basis

How to play?

To kick-start the game, ERA has hidden 10 gold coins, called “Mi” in 10 different public locations across the island where individuals – the Mi Hunters – who have qualified by following the instructions to participate, can follow the trail of hints over a span of two weeks.

Starting on Monday, 22 April 2019, a hint on a designated coloured background – each gold coin is assigned a designated colour – will be released every day for a period of five days, to lead Mi Hunters nearer to a gold coin each day.

A Final Hint for each gold coin will be released across two Sundays. These Final Hints will be obvious, so Mi Hunters are able to locate any remaining gold coins with relative ease.

Besides keeping the gold coins as a memento, Mi Hunters who find the gold coins will also receive $500 worth of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) cash vouchers which can be used to offset the costs of staycations or shopping and dining at RWS.

How can this help new projects marketing

“The island-wide treasure hunt is a good impetus to raise awareness for the new projects ERA is marketing and to engage our 6,700-strong agent network with these new projects,” said Mr Jack Chua, CEO of ERA.

“The timing of the treasure hunt is also apt as it comes right after the release of URA Draft Master Plan 2019 where everyone is excited about how Singapore is going to transform in the next 10–15 years. This agency-wide activation serves to prepare ERA to be future-ready for our upcoming nation-wide developments.”
