International schools are great places for children to go to school.
Unfortunately, not everyone would be able to find a place to stay near an international school. We’ve taken the time out to do the hard work for you and found 8 places to stay near some great international schools.
West
Canadian International School (CIS)
The Lakeside campus of the Canadian International School (CIS) sits at Jurong West. It offers all three International Baccalaureate programs to children aged 3 to 18. It is home to over 2,900 students in two campuses. The final two years of the programs lead to the award of the IB Diploma.
Lakeville condo

The southwest of Singapore is home to 2 international schools. The first is the United World College (UWC) runs 2 campuses. Combined, it takes a total of 5400 students aged 4 to 18. The second is Dover Court International School, a leading inclusive British international school in South East Asia.
Nearer to both schools sits the Heritage View, a 20 storey tall condominium tower situated at Dover Rise. This 618 unit development sits close to One North MRT and has direct buses available to both UWC and Dover Court International School. Rentals run the range of $1300 for smaller floor plates, to $9000 for the largest floor plates.
The condominium has been designed to aid expatriates working within the city because of its close walking proximity to work. It is also suitable for those working in nearby educational institutions, the Science Park, one-north (Biopolis, Fusionpolis, Vista Xchange) and the Ayer Rajah Industrial Park.

Central
ISS International School and EtonHouse International Schools
The central area of Singapore is home to two international schools of note. First, the ISS International School offers IB Primary Years Program for children aged 4 to 12, IB Middle Years Program for children aged 11-16, and IB Diploma Program for children aged 11 to 12. ISS has approximately 750 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and 80 members of the faculty.
The second is EtonHouse International Schools and Pre-Schools. Students are offered the IB Primary Years Programme, Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma. The modern and robust international curriculum is inspired by best practice and incorporates a SMART programme focusing on Science, Maths, Art, Research and Technology.

Situated near both schools is the highly exclusive Nassim Park Residences.
The townhouse style development has 100 residential units and is located within walking distance to Orchard Road shopping belt where a myriad of facilities awaits such as major shopping malls, restaurants and eating establishments, banks, cinema, library, and other entertainment facilities. There are also numerous bus services available close by.

Another alternative is The Nassim, a similarly exclusive townhouse style development that only has 55 residential units. Each apartment in the project is designed as a standalone unit, without an adjoining wall to the next unit. There are landscaped sky bridges on the second level.

North
Singapore American School
The North has a pick of international schools as well. The first is the Singapore American School, which sits in the Woodlands area and has students from preschool all the way to 12th graders.
The other is GEMS World Academy in Yishun, a school dedicated to a holistic education that is made up of academics, sports and arts. GEMS accepts students from Pre-K all the way up to 12th grade.
If you’re looking to stay near these schools, The Wisteria is a good place to be.

This 216 unit condominium built atop of all mall is ideally located with easy connectivity assured by access to the major expressways – such as the Tampines Expressway (TPE), Central Expressway (CTE) and the future North-South Expressway (NSE) which will serve motorists starting from 2020.

North East
Lycée Francais De Singapour and Australian International School (AIS)
The North East is home to Lycée Francais De Singapour, or the French International school. It is a private school recognised by the French Ministry of Education and supported by the Agency for French Education abroad. The school runs programs for Kindergarten to Upper Secondary School Students, with an emphasis on the acquisition of French language and culture.
The other school in the north east is the Australian International School (AIS). The AIS is a coeducational Preschool to Year 12. Established in 1993, the school has an enviable reputation for its unique pastoral care, academic excellence and wide range of co-curricular offerings.
Just 12 minutes drive to Lycée Français de Singapour 8 mins drive to Australian International school. lies the 97 unit, CDL-developed Haus@Serangoon Garden. This terrace house development is just minutes from Serangoon Central where nex, one of Singapore’s largest suburban malls, is.
Discover hundreds of shops, restaurants, a public library, a 24-hour supermarket, a cineplex, and more! Integrated with the shopping mall is a bus interchange and an MRT interchange for the Circle Line and the North East Line. In addition, Lorong Chuan MRT station is just around the corner for added convenience. The development’s units are going for rent at $6500 to $9000.
Another private development just 7 minutes drive to Australian International school and 10 minutes drive to Lycée Français de Singapore is Jade Residences.
This 171 unit condominium development is at the heart of Upper Serangoon and in close proximity to Serangoon MRT and various expressways like Central Expressway (CTE), Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Kallang- Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE). Apartments in this development are going for rent at $1200 to $4200.
East
Overseas Family School
The East is home to the Overseas Family School, which provides IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programs from grade K-12. The school is home for 3687 students from 73 countries. The UWC’s other campus is also in the east.
Vue 8, Pasir Ris.
Near these two schools is the Vue 8 Residences. This 463 unit condominium development is all about the greens.
All units at Vue 8 Residences will either overlook the park, the forest or the coast, or a combination of all three. The area is a very green, tranquil one, and residents have the seafront, the park and the forest on their doorstep, with the beach just 2 or 3 minutes’ walk.
The development itself is also spacious, with room for a good variety of facilities, including a 50- metre pool and tennis court. There are a good number of schools within walking distance or a short bus ride from the development.
Access to the TPE is easy from Vue 8 Residences, from where you can get to anywhere on the island. It is right next to the Overseas Family School, and 8 minutes drive to UWC’s Tampines campus.
