You can win a sleepover inside the Louvre

Night at the museum! Your once-in-a-lifetime chance to spend a night inside the world-class Musée du Louvre in Paris is here.

To celebrate 30 years of the Musée du Louvre’s iconic glass pyramid, Airbnb is giving one lucky art enthusiast the ultimate after-dark experience in the world’s most famous museum.

The experience will begin when doors to the gallery close on April 30.

The lucky winner and their guest will make their way inside the empty museum where they will be greeted by an art historian who will commence a bespoke tour of the gallery’s most renowned works – it’s an experience previously given to the likes of Barack Obama, Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Following the tour, the winning duo will make their way over to the Mona Lisa where drinks will be enjoyed in a temporary lounge room erected for the occasion.

A dinner feast will then be served in a pop-up dining room, hosted by none other than the Venus of Milo, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

The evening will be topped off by an intimate acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s lavish apartments.

Full of Parisian fare and drunk on art and music, the winners will retire to the pop-up pyramid-shaped bedroom under the glass pyramid itself.
