Coosno is the smart coffee table with hidden fridge storage, wireless device charging and disco lights… so there goes ever having to leave the couch again.
Home tech giants are marketing products like TVs and even fridges as the smart hubs of the home, but one innovative new start-up wants you to consider the coffee table for this all-important role.
No longer just a home for your remote and a place to put your feet up, Coosno is a smart coffee table with hidden room for all sorts of fun extras.
Our favourite feature of the Coosno is the sizeable refrigerator that’s built into the futuristic design.
At the touch of a button, through the app or via voice control, the centre support lifts the tabletop to reveal a circular fridge with space for 68 cans of drink.
But there’s nothing to say you couldn’t fill that space with fruit, chocolates, leftovers, you name it.
Throwing a party? The Coosno also functions as a ‘party hub’ with 360-degree Bluetooth speakers and rainbow LED lights at the base as well as a glowing tabletop.
Hook your phone up to the device and watch the screen phase and pulse to the rhythm and base in 160,000 colours.
Flashy features aside, the device is also functional with hidden storage drawers to maintain a sleek look, as well as built-in power sockets and USB outlets for charging your smartphone and laptop.
Up to two smartphones or tablets can also charge wirelessly when placed on the tabletop, and the coffee table can also offer hands-free help around the house with built-in Google Assistant.
Organise your calendar, ask about the weather, control your home’s lighting, set reminders, and lift the lid on your coffee table fridge – all are easily done by talking to Google Assistant through the Coosno.
The Coosno is currently in crowdfunding stages on Indiegogo with a price of AUD$499.
