The most beautiful hotel bathrooms to inspire

Looking for inspiration for your bathroom reno? These stunning hotel bathrooms from around the world will have you dreaming and designing in no time.

Shower, sink, toilet, vanity… When it comes to designing your dream bathroom, the space should not be thought of as a checklist, but rather an opportunity to create a little slice of heaven.

Unlike the bathroom in your home – which is often thought of as a stop-off to primp and prep for the day ahead – a bathroom on holiday is regarded as a place to relax and unwind after a long day.

We’re of the opinion that you can have both when it comes to designing a washroom in your own home, and these stunning spaces from around the world will give you all the inspiration you need to create a vacation-worthy bathroom.

Hyatt on the Bund, China

While you may typically think to reserve your views for your bedroom or living room, this stunning bathroom in Shanghai may encourage you to save your city view for your tub.

The all-marble-everything bathroom is striking against the vast skyline below and beyond, and houses a giant rainshower as well as a large soaking tub. Ain’t no better way to end your day.

Calistoga Ranch, USA

This Californian ranch nestled in the picturesque Napa Valley boasts perhaps one of the most inspirational outdoor bathrooms we’ve seen yet.

If your home sits within or looks over bushland, then why not recreate this stunning space? Install an outdoor rain shower on a wooden-clad balcony among the birds and crickets, with not a soul surrounding you.

Huvafen Fushi Resort, The Maldives

Looking to install your very own wet-edge or infinity pool? Why not follow the example set by this island hotel and pop in a neighbouring bathroom.

Imagine the joy in alternating between soaking in some rays by the pool, and soaking in a tub while overlooking the ocean… Bliss.

Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge, South Africa

Okay, so this one’s not exactly as achievable as it is aspirational, but how could we not include an outdoor bath that has a view of actual wild elephants

We’re not about to go seeking out our own trunked mammals, but we can draw inspiration from the polished concrete and intricate stone detailing in this outdoor space.

Underwater suites at the Atlantis, Dubai

You’ve likely seen these bathrooms on the Instagram accounts of your favourite jetsetters. Underwater bathrooms exist, and we can only imagine they’re more spectacular in real life.

If you don’t have the resources (read: Stingrays, sharks, millions of dollars) to recreate this feature in your own home, then a large-scale fish tank, nautical-inspired features or mosaic wall may provide a similar effect.
