The EverBlock system is giant lego for your home

Build yourself a desk, a bed, a chair or a bookshelf: The configurations are endless with this nifty invention.

Many of us can recall the immense joy in building tailor-made toys as kids, tiny blocks scattered all over the carpet just waiting to cripple a passerby who made the mistake of walking barefoot.

While those are just fond memories for many of us, a fantastic new product is here to resurrect the creative genius in us all.

Meet the EverBlock: These are life-sized modular blocks that allow you to build just about anything you want in your home.

Interconnecting joins allow the user to stack and stagger the oversized blocks to create and customise anything from walls, partitions and bookshelves to modular furniture, office cubicles, catering bars and more!

The idea came about when founder Arnon Rosan consulted his three sons – all of whom are under 10 – about what his next business venture should be.

And while EverBlocks began as a fun exercise for Arnon and his boys, the brand soon expanded into many industries.

“Right now, we are focusing on the blocks for use as room dividers, interesting modular furniture and special event décor, but we eventually envision our blocks being used to provide economical housing in developing countries and for disaster relief shelter applications,” Arnon tells Today in an interview.

The large plastic blocks come in an assortment of colours to suit any space’s aesthetic.

Of course, clean white and chic black make for a sleek building material for modern houses and rooms, but the range extends to bright orange, pink, red, violet and more to suit the bolder or more imaginative projects.

EverBlocks are available to be shipped to Australia now, with prices starting from $US3.95 for a 3-inch block.
