“Making passive construction easy.” That’s the tagline behind PopUp House, an innovative research and design office based in France that aims to build well-insulated buildings effectively and efficiently.
There’s no doubt about it, the construction industry is ever-changing. And it’s thanks to companies that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, like PopUp House.
The French company has already built more than 200 PopUp Houses. The no-fuss, affordable homes and offices are super easy to assemble and range from 95sqm office spaces to 230sqm homes.
Every project is designed as a 3D model and built by qualified builders equipped with the right tools for the job.
So, how does the build process work?
First up, you find the land, decide on your budget and touch base with PopUp house. They’ll connect you to a local architect or home builder after studying your project.
The conception of the project takes four to eight weeks – during this time you’ll design your PopUp House, freely or from the company’s inspiration models, and apply for a construction permit.
Once the site is good to go, installation of your PopUp House can begin. This is estimated to take between one to two weeks, after which time the fit-out can commence.
It’s that easy and is available worldwide.
So, in the words of Linkin Park and Jay-Z: What the hell are you waiting for?
