Step 1. Place item upright on a flat surface
This step can be applied to virtually any piece of clothing – you can even extend it to use for your tea towels. Simply place the item upright first on a flat surface.
Step 2. Divide item into three
This step will be slightly different depending on the item being folded, for example, a t-shirt vs. a jumper, but essentially you will need to divide the item into three sections.
Step 3. Fold and tuck
Fold one side of the item in and tuck in the sleeve.
Step 4. Repeat
Repeat on the other side.
Step 5. Fold in 1/2
Fold the body of the item in half.
Step 6. Fold in 1/3
Now fold into thirds.
Step 7. Stand vertically for storage
Stand like items vertically in your drawer and use collapsible dividers if necessary to separate, unlike items.
