The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) released three residential sites at Boon Lay Way, Simei Street 3 and Stirling Road for sale today.
The two land parcels at Boon Lay Way and Simei Street 3 are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the first half 2010 Government Land Sales Programme while the site at Stirling Road is placed under the Reserve List for application for sale. Together, these three residential sites can potentially yield about 1,180 housing units.
The site at Boon Lay Way has a site area of about 1.61 ha and will have a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 56,411 sqm which can potentially yield about 525 residential units. It is located in close proximity to Jurong Gateway, which is earmarked to be the largest commercial hub outside the city centre. It is also located next to the Lakeside Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.
The Simei Street 3 site has a site area of 1.18 ha and has a maximum permissible GFA of 27,124 sqm, potentially yielding about 250 housing units. Located near the Changi Business Park and the future Singapore University of Technology and Design which will open in 2011, the site is also within walking distance to Simei MRT station.
The site at Stirling Road is situated within a private residential area and has a site area of about 1.06 ha. It can potentially yield about 405 housing units and is near Queenstown MRT station.
The tender for the site at Boon Lay Way will close on 4 May 2010 and the tender for the site at Simei Street 3 will close on 11 May 2010.
