The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said the top bid for the Mohamed Sultan Road office site was $17.2 million. The bid came from Link (THM) Holdings.
The top bid was noticeably more than the second bid of $13.3 million by OKH Management. The third bid of $11.2 million was put in by Agrow Investments.
The site was launched for public tender on 9 February 2010. It was originally placed on the Reserve List of the Government Land Sales Programme. URA had, on 28 January 2010, accepted a successful application for the site to be put up for sale. The site was offered for sale on a 15-year lease.
