The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) launched the former Alkaff Mansion for use as restaurant, art gallery, spa facilities and museum yesterday.

Located at 10 Telok Blangah Green, the site has a land area of about 8,983.6 sqm and an approximate gross floor area of 1,220 sqm. The tenancy is for an initial term of 3 years and is renewable for another two terms of three years each.

The former Alkaff Mansion has a rich historical legacy and is situated on a hilltop. It was given conservation status on 9 Jun 2005.

The site showround for the Former Alkaff Mansion will be on 24 Mar 2010. The tender will remain open for three weeks from today, 16 Mar 2010 and will close on 6 April.
