| Q : | Someone tells me that getting condo units that have potential of en-bloc is a great idea of an investment. Anyone cares to comment? |
| A : | So can property agents tell potential buyers that a particular block will be enbloc? How old the units have to be before they enbloc is allowed? Any regulations on enbloc? Can a 5 year old block be up for enbloc? |

| Q : | I have 100K cash but only 30K in CPF. If I want to get a condo unit for about 800K, I would have to pay the downpayment by cash only, I think. |
| A : | according to the MAS ruling, you are right! however you dun need the minimum sum of $53k to be in your cpf before you can start buying provided that this is your only private property. If you would like to, you can feel free to drop me a call while I can give you a few suggestions how you can go about still getting your ideal home of 800k LEGALLY!!! |
